Understanding EN 13501-1 Fire Classification
The European standard classifies construction products by their reaction to fire. Paged FR products achieve class B-s1,d0 - the highest possible for wood-based materials.
s1 - Smoke causes 2/3 of all fire fatalities. Class s1 means minimal smoke generation.
d0 - Zero burning droplets within 600 seconds. No additional fire spread.
